The Elementary classes include Kindergarten through 4th grade. These classes follow the Curriculum issued by the School Superintendent of Catholic Schools from the Diocese of Buffalo. You can find an outline of the curriculum here: Buffalo Diocese Curriculum
The class sizes are small so each child receives a lot of individual attention. In the classroom we focus on high academic standards, spiritual values, family values, and serving our community. A highlight of the Kindergarten program is the 8th grade buddy program. Each kindergarten student is assigned an 8th grade buddy that walks with them to mass and then helps them during mass. They have time each week to read with their 8th grade buddy. This is a very rewarding experience for the Kindergarten students as well as the 8th grade students.
Primary subjects are Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Religion. Students attend Music, Art, Physical Education, Computer Education, Library, and Spanish each week. Each classroom is equipped with a Promethean Board to enhance the learning environment and learning experience to our students Children attend mass every Thursday mornings.
