Early Childhood (Pre-K3 - PreK4)

Northern Chautauqua Catholic School offers Early Childhood programs for 3 year old and 4 year old children.

Preschool (3 year olds) is a half-day program, three mornings a week, which runs from 8:30 to 11:00.  Children are introduced to school life in a loving and nurturing setting focusing on an introduction to religion themes,  social skills and basic academics. The children participate in music, Spanish and PE classes.

PreKindergarten is a full-day program for older fours and young five year olds.  It meets from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM each school day.  The children follow the school schedule and participate in all special area classes--Music, Art, Spanish, PE, and Computer.  This class attends Mass once a month with their partner seventh graders.

PreK follows both the Diocesan and New York state curriculum.  We focus on basic religion, social skills and all areas of the curriculum through theme based planning.

Children must be 3 to be in the Preschool program by December 1 of that school year, and 4 to be in the PreKindergarten of that school year. There will be an application process and a screening for an entrance into the PreKindergarten Program.

Class sizes are limited.
